Please give us a short summary of your website?
Kreative Treasures is a place to find handmade baby and childrens items. It has things you would normally find at a craft booth but you don't even need to leave your house. We have things that would be perfect as gift items for new parents.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
My mother in law suggested the idea after she saw the kinds of crafts my grandmother and I make.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I recently started this website with ecrater although i have been helping my grandma sell at craft fairs for a few years now.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
It kind of came to us after going over and over different ideas.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We are family run and everything we make is one of a kind and original.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My goal is to earn some extra spending money since I am a stay at home mom. Also to help my grandma who can no longer sell her crafts because she has myasthenia gravis.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Success hasn't been great but it all keeps me busy and I like doing it.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would add so much more and make a larger selection.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
My grandma has made a lot of things but I have not been able to compensate her so she sells to friends and at church.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
It takes a lot of time and I am still a small fish in a large ocean.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Balancing life, the website and making crafts but its all working out and is enjoyable.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
I get the most from going to sites and my myspace page.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I thought I would be selling more items by now.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I will continue this site for awhile and see how it goes in a few years.

I dedicate this website to my grandmother because even when she is in pain she loves to make crafts.
