We aim to provide you with the best and latest elegant styles with the best prices. Our service is fast, friendly and efficient. We specialise in high quality designer suits at the most affordable price. All our suits have matching Hats and handbags, which are available to order. We also cater for plus sizes.We carry a full line of women church suits, hats and purses for women of all ages. We also carry a full line fashion hats, dress suits, pants suits, business suits, unlined suits, fully lined suits, ladies church suits, embroidery suits, embellished suits and suits for all occasions. All of our suits are well designed to fit the perfect elegant woman with style.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
A gap in the market!I noticed that there were very few shops that provided unique exquisite chic womens suits that were elegant and affordable.A desire to have our own clothing line also inspired in such a way that we have our very own Sisi & Mimi collection amongst the other designer suits that we stock.We also wanted to provide suits that would suit every size whether its a petite size 4 to a yummy plus size 30.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
www.chicsuits.com is our first website recently launched in order to bring grace and sophistication for every elegant woman!
How did you decide on a name for your website?
We wanted a name that would be a definition of our products.A name that says "stylish,fashionable,well dressed, sophisticated all in one.Chic suits is a website that brings all these things at the click of a mouse for every woman out there that loves to celebrate their femininity!
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Chicsuits.com is a woman run website.Being female we have the "insider knowledge" on what women want.We aim to bring elegance to every woman and bring out the Diva in you.We also have an exclusive Sisi and Mimi collection that is well designed to fill in the gap for exquisite yet affordable outfits that can be assensuated with killer heels and an Ascot hat!
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To be the No 1 stockist of womens elegant suits in Africa and Europe,We would also like to have a full catwalk collection of our Sisi and Mimi designer wear leading to a special personal shopper service and a fashion magazine that is exclusive for women who would like to be trendseters.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Any type of business requires a certain amount of committment be it financial or time.The effort you put in always reflects on the progress you make.This is always an on going process that requires a 24 hr service.Seeing your business progress is priceless despite the money or time you might have put into it.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
If we had an unlimited development budget for development we would include online advice in the form of a forum and live chat system to give individual style advise for our customers.We would provide an online personal shopper and well as a free clothing stylist service.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
As that is our ultimate goal having put the time money and effort and gone through the hurdles we have gone through,a hudge demand for our producta would be a walk in the park.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Our initial cost and headaches were the most difficult.We tried to find reliable and good website designers but in the end we were so disappointed with the service we got.We then decided to do it ourselves.I must say it wasnt as easy as I thought it would be but the end result was and is very satisfying.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Getting ourselves out there! there are so may websites on the net that have wonderful products and have been designed well but have no visits at all.We have had to advertise everwhere and at every opportunity we can get!
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word of mouth as well as advertising in womens Magazines.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Planning in advance and being organised ahs made running the website very pleasent!
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
www.chicsuits has only just been launched and is here to stay!
