Please give us a short summary of your website?
My website is mainly custom tutus....you choose the size, color/colors, embellishments, everything...You design it, I bring it to life!
What inspired you to launch your own website?
After having my second child, it became pointless to leave the house to work. After paying a sitter, I was left with little cash and wondering 'Why am I doing this?' But, I am a busy person and still needed to feel as if I were contributing financially and so began AngelBabes.....

How did you decide on a name for your website?
I can't remember actually. LOL
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
I feel as if I am always 'taking things to the next level' What else can we do with a tutu? What has not been done before? Many of my designs are the original, you saw it here first.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I will keep it for income and hopefully hand the business over to my daughter in about 15 years!
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
AngelBabes has enjoyed a very successful 2007 and 2008 is proving to be even better. The more successful the site, the more time and money I am willing to invest. I guess it should be the other way around??

Hmmmmm. A virtual online store idea sounds fabulous to me!
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
No, I am already getting a plan ready for the time(very soon, I predict) that I will need additional help.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Theft of my images has been a headache. I've had to learn the hard way about image protection.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Getting my name out there, making my work stand out from the masses.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Linkage.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It's a lot more work than I had imagined, considering it is a one-woman operation....marketing, designing, accounting, ordering, distributing, the list goes on!
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I have been operating this site about 2 years. I will keep it up as long as my lifestyle provides.
Does your success fluctuate with the seasons?
Autumn is by far the best season for sales. I launched my Couture Costumes last September and it was very successful. It was a trial of sorts. I made mistakes but I learned from them. I am really anticipating this costume season. I will start promoting in June and selling in July. My designs are all new and I am offering One-of-a-Kind Costumes as well.
