What inspired you to launch your own website?
Reaching more people making my jewelry aval at all times, not just when I'm doing a live showing
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
Just this year, I think maybe back in July or August (recall warped)
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I'm a jewlery designer, bead and wire. I use a portion of the sales for missions and hunger relied. Beads of Faith, play on words. Seeds of Faith. THus, beads of faith...sowing seeds for body & Soul. I think people realy like knowing that they can buy jewelry and help others eat and find hope.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
No kits, no duplicate. Also, stated above. BOF feeds, encourages and looks good. The concept is to make funky gallery looks affordable, so all women can have something artist made. Not for the rich.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
planting more seeds, maybe even sparking an interest in other crafters to donate 10 or 20 % for their sales (not profits). Its a good feeling.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Why out of balance. But I don't care. I love what I do and why I do it and that settles it for me. The money will come and even if it doesn't, theres always live shows and those are generally very good.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I have a website that did more, that is more options for my viewer, making it easier and more interesting for them. I would have adds in all the city magazines and banners on every major related website
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None so far, I'm really just getting started
What has been your biggest challenge?
those first steps. Taking that plug by myself. I'm not a kid and my generation didn't have color tv until later, let alone PC's. So I'm learning.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Joining other sites, linking to them.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It much more enjoyable than I thought it would be. Its fun to update too with new things. Beads of Faith is growing and changing. I started with 6 pages and now I think I have 19 or 20. I get a lot of word of mounth too. I'm going to get some business cards and pass them out. One for the lady or man that I'm speaking with, and another for them to pass on. I think people are willing to help when they know what your doing. People like the idea of affordable funk.
