The first online department store in the UK, offering franchises and distribution via party plan. Low entry fee, excellent opportunity

What inspired you to launch your own website?

For our business and our franchisees to be successful, we need three key elements. A counrty where franchising is on the increase, where online retail is on the increase and demand for high class fashion and jewellery

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

2004, Dilarasdreams.com We started just with jewellery and due to demand we swiftly moved into fashion accessories etc

How did you decide on a name for your website?

The women I loved, her name was Dilara

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

We have as yet no competitor, for now!!

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

1000.000 online customers

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

We just never stop. Success is a measurment of hard work

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Create the biggest and most sophisticated online department store anywhere and distribute products soley through franchisees

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, we are geared up for global expansion

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Getting the right quality of Master Franchisees.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Creating a fantastic brand from scratch

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

word of mouth and commission payments to party planners with excellent reward programmes

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

No, we are pretty much on target

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

since 2007 and we keep it up until we have 100.000 online customers. Registration to have an online account in any of our stores is free

What do you need to grow your business globally

We need one Master Franchisee in each country who in turn appoints sub-franchisees who in turn appoint distributors. We need contacts from all over the world
