Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?

FreshTrend aims to take some of the pain out of the gift giving experience by making it easier to find unique and fun gift ideas.

What blogging platform do you do and why?

Wordpress because it provides an enormous amount of flexibility.

What do you blog the most about?

Gift ideas and especially fun, new products that we find.

What kind of blogs make you angry?

Blogs that are just ramblings and don't really focus on anything helpful or important.

Be honest. Write frequently. Link to other blogs. Be interesting. Don't give up.

What are some things you would NEVER blog about?

Politics.

Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?

Not really although FreshTrend does make a little money.

About a year and a half.

Do you track RSS feeds and if so, how many do you usually track daily?

Five, mostly gift blogs.

Do you use Digg, and why or why not?

A little, but I don't like how it seems to be ruled by so few people.

Do you use Stumbleupon, and why or why not?

Absolutely, its totally fun.

What promotional techniques work best for you and why?

SEO and building links to the site.

If you could post a blog on any blog in the world, which one would it be and why?

BoingBoing, cuz its got such cool stuff on it.

What mistakes have you made that you could warn others about?

Not writing frequently enough (at times).

BoingBoing.com Silose.com LifeHacker.com Gizmodo.com and FreshTrend.com of course :)
